Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Travel Position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Elkton, Maryland.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Speech Language Pathologist with Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medically prescribed speech language pathology to restore function and prevent disability following injury or loss of a body part.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records pertinent to patient treatment.
  • Educate patients, other health professionals, and family regarding speech therapy on an on-going basis.
  • Observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment, document and report findings accordingly.
  • Follow hospital safety rules and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • One to three years' experience as an SLP preferred.
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
