Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse - LVN

Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse - LVN.

Job Summary

The Private Duty Nurse - LVN will provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and providing medical care as needed. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and document care plans in accordance with physician orders
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring
  • Assess patient needs and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • One year of experience as an LPN in a clinical care setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
