Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to medically fragile children and adults in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and manage individualized care plans in accordance with physician orders and patient needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- One year of experience in a clinical care setting, preferably in home health or pediatrics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required by the job.
