Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary

The Private Duty Nurse will provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and managing their medical conditions. This is a part-time and full-time position, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage patient care plans in accordance with physician orders
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
