Position Summary: The Transportation Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of secured transportation personnel within their designated area. This role involves coaching, engaging, and ensuring accountability among team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee secured transportation staff to guarantee adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Plan and coordinate armored and ATM routes to fulfill customer needs, adjusting routes as necessary.
  • Assign vehicles to specific routes and maintain communication with the vehicle services department.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager for daily operational guidance.
  • Prepare daily billing and productivity reports related to routes.
  • Assist in payroll preparation, including incentives and accident reports.
  • Manage inventory of uniforms and supplies.
  • Ensure branch security during operational hours.
  • Implement security controls to safeguard inventories and minimize risk exposure.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new employees.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the branch.
  • Report any violations of company policies and procedures.
  • Fill in on armored and ATM routes as needed.
  • Exhibit professionalism and a positive demeanor when interacting with team members and clients.
  • Travel to other locations for temporary assignments as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in transportation or a related logistics field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain necessary local and state permits for carrying a sidearm.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations is preferred.
