Job Summary
This is a two-year, onsite contract role based in Columbia, AL, supporting the development of design modification packages for an existing power generation facility. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in commercial nuclear design modifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analysis of changes to existing power plants as well as new plant systems
- Perform calculations, develop isometrics, and provide design recommendations, specifications, and design change packages
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university required
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial nuclear design modification experience, developing design modification packages, including calcs, specs, and analysis
- Recent experience working under design standard IP-ENG-001
- Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, and CAD Software
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S.
