Manpower Engineering is seeking a skilled HVAC System Design Specialist to join their team in Richland, WA. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with experience in HVAC system design and nuclear facilities.

 

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of work experience. As a HVAC System Design Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating and selecting standard mechanical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and apply standard mechanical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria using independent judgment
  • Participate in the design, development, and modification of mechanical components and processes
  • Prepare conceptual studies, designs, reports, and proposals

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of work experience
  • Professional Engineers License (PE)
  • Experience in producing HVAC load calculations, ductwork design, and equipment selection for nuclear HVAC systems
  • Knowledge of ASME AG-1, ASHRAE, SMACNA standards, and experience with DOE Nuclear Cleaning handbook and guides
  • Right to work in the United States without need of Sponsorship

 

Benefits

This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate of $45.50-$90.00 per hour, depending on experience. The pay range may vary based on qualifications and location.
