Nursing Assistant/Senior Direct Support Professional

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant/Senior Direct Support Professional to join our team at Westchester Jewish Community Services. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including medication administration and medical appointments.
- Administer medication to individuals as prescribed by medical professionals.
- Attend medical appointments with individuals and provide transportation as needed.
- Support the overall operation of the community-based residence, including maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must possess an AMAP Certificate.
- 6-12 months experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities as a DSP.
- Valid driver's license for over two years.
- Ability to conduct physical activity, including lifting, moving, pulling, pushing, flexing, and bending.
