The Staten Island YMCA - Counseling Service is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Associate Program Director. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

**Estimated Salary**: $62,400 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

This key leadership position will oversee the day-to-day operations of the North Shore Adult Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program development, social service, and staff supervision. Experience in fiscal management, program planning, and quality assurance is also preferred.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct care services and administrative supervision to program staff.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation for client files.
  • Developing and enhancing program census through outreach, agency coordination, and strategic partnerships.
  • Representing the agency at networking meetings and coalitions.
  • Recruiting, training, retaining, and supervising volunteers, interns, and clinical staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work or related field (NYS License required).
  • At least two years of experience in the substance use disorder field, including program development and social service.
  • Experience in staff supervision, fiscal management, program planning, and quality assurance is highly desirable.
