About the Position: The mission of the Defense Health Agency is to serve as a Combat Support Agency (CSA) and lead the MHS integration of readiness and health to deliver the Quadruple Aim: improved readiness, better health, better care, and lower cost. Duties:

Serve as a subject matter expert on the Joint Strategic Planning System and the Joint Planning Process (JPP). Based on thorough analysis, coordinate with Combatant Commands (CCMD) to ensure CCMD medical planning needs are met. Coordinate with CCMD planners to assist with understanding the CCMD concepts of operations. Assist the CCMD medical planners with to conduct course of action and risk analysis. Work involves participation with joint forces, combined operations, and interagency organizations in support of Homeland Defense. Represent the J-3 in Joint strategic planning meetings higher levels within the organization, HQ DHA, DOD, and other agencies Requirements:

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or access. A pre-employment and recurring comprehensive background investigations are required. This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to pre-employment screening and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to consent to participation in random drug urinalysis testing. Qualifications:
