The Logistics Warehouse Operator plays a crucial role in the foundational operations of our warehouse. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and organize weekly product shipments and maintain cooler inventory
  • Ensure proper rotation of perishable goods to uphold first in-first out inventory practices
  • Prepare and package orders for customer distribution
  • Conduct daily food safety and sanitation checks
  • Monitor and maintain cooler temperature
  • Efficiently rotate and stock retail items, cooler stock, and service cases, ensuring back stock is appropriately managed
  • Price retail items, including backstock
  • Check expiration dates on all products and identify short-coded items
  • Assist with additional tasks or special projects as required

Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; proficiency in basic math and reasoning
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse or comparable position
  • Basic computer literacy

Physical Abilities

  • Capability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Capacity to lift or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs; push or pull objects weighing up to 600 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in a refrigerated or freezer environment

Training Provided

  • Fundamentals of food safety and sanitation
  • Familiarization with the product range
  • General warehouse operations, including the use of pallet jacks and proper lifting techniques
