We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As an LPN, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care settings, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for residents, including administering medications, treatments, and performing testing to evaluate resident status.
- Contribute to the assessment of residents and develop care plans to meet their physical and psychosocial needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary needs.
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
