Job Title: Banquet Captain

Job Summary:

The Banquet Captain is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of banquet services. This role requires excellent communication and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with suppliers and maintain a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and positivity with employees, coworkers, and guests.
  • Ensure proper flow of service and FOH staffing levels during shifts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to reduce operational costs.
  • Focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication and multitasking skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training; hospitality degree preferred.
  • 2 years of food and beverage supervision/lead experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; luxury branded hospitality experience preferred.
  • Valid New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification.
  • Ability to work on feet for eight hours or more.
  • Knowledge of Restaurant Point of Sale systems.
  • Ability to lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently.
