Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to team members, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Relay communication between team members, clients, customers, and management, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned.
  • Report performance issues to the Supervisor, and work collaboratively to resolve any problems that may arise.
  • Assist with the training of new cleaning team members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules, ensuring that the team is properly allocated and that all tasks are completed on time.
  • Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned buildings, ensuring that high-quality results are achieved and that all health and safety protocols are followed.
  • Manage security of keys and access cards for the property, ensuring that all access is secure and controlled.
  • Report work orders for maintenance, and work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure that all issues are resolved promptly.
  • Makes sure premises are secured at all times, and that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
  • Work with the Manager to schedule jobs with Property Managers and cleaning crews to complete the work, and to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with the Manager, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standard.
  • Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building, and ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly, and report any issues or concerns to the Supervisor.
  • Complete order forms completely and accurately, and coordinate equipment usage and inventories to ensure that all resources are properly managed.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have at least 1 year Lead or Supervisor Experience in Commercial Cleaning.
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
  • Must be Bilingual - English/Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One (1) year of similar work experience.
