Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Beacon Health System. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing pharmaceutical care to our patients and contributing to the development and maintenance of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in clinically oriented services, including drug regimen management and clinical services.
  • Provide drug information services, review patient medical records, and make recommendations about appropriate drug therapy.
  • Identify problems and make recommendations concerning patient compliance, therapeutic response, drug interactions, and similar issues.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform clinical decisions.
  • Assist with the orientation of new Pharmacy Services staff members and participate in research and clinical drug trials.
  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the department by completing other job-related duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, master's degree in pharmacy, or Pharm D degree from an accredited college or university.
  • License or demonstrated eligibility for licensure to practice pharmacy in Michigan.
  • Minimum of two-three years of experience in clinical pharmacy practice.
  • Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and standards for the provision of pharmaceutical services, drug therapy, and current treatment modalities.
  • Solid data collection skills and good communication skills, both verbal and written.
