Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, immunizations, and disease state management.
- Lead a team of pharmacists and technicians to ensure efficient and effective pharmacy operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to promote health and wellness initiatives.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote Walgreens' services and products.
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree from an accredited institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance billing.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Supervisory experience planning, organizing, and directing the work of pharmacy staff.
- At least 6 months pharmacy experience with Walgreen Co.
