Customer Service Representative

This role involves communicating with customers to address their inquiries, resolve issues, and determine their ongoing and additional product/service needs, ensuring compliance with physician direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers through inbound and outbound calls, as well as automated dialer system calls
  • Document interactions, entering customer orders into a computerized record-keeping system
  • Verify and update customer demographic information
  • Analyze documents, such as patient orders, to inform customer interactions
  • Understand pharmacy prescription terminology to effectively communicate with customers
  • Collaborate with coworkers and patients to provide excellent customer service
  • Contribute to the training of new employees
  • Perform calculations related to frequency and doses dispensed
  • Apply common sense to carry out oral and written instructions

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or one to three months of related experience and/or training
  • Meet any licensing requirements for the specific location
  • Proficiency in data-entry and computer skills

Physical Demands:

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
