Position Overview:

The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our banking clientele by executing financial transactions, establishing new accounts, and enhancing customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile cash drawer efficiently.
  • Facilitate the opening of new personal and business accounts, including checking and savings options.
  • Assess customer requirements and suggest tailored products and services.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through appropriate referrals.
  • Conduct account inquiries and resolve issues as necessary.
  • Participate in cross-training across various functions within the financial center, including ATM operations, vault services, savings bonds, safe deposit boxes, wire transfers, and additional offerings.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by assisting both external and internal clients and addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Safeguard customer trust and maintain operational integrity by adhering to the Privacy Policy and ensuring confidentiality of information.
  • Follow bank protocols and comply with regulatory, operational, and security standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in customer service is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior banking experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Supervisory Role:

This position does not entail supervisory duties.

Work Environment:

This role is situated in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Requirements:
