Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile cash drawer effectively.
  • Facilitate the opening of new personal and business accounts, including checking and savings options.
  • Assess customer requirements and suggest tailored products and services.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through appropriate referrals.
  • Conduct account inquiries and resolve issues as necessary.
  • Participate in cross-training across various functions within the financial center, including ATM services, vault operations, savings bonds, safe deposit services, wire transfers, and more.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by assisting both external and internal clients, addressing inquiries and requests promptly.
  • Safeguard customer trust and maintain operational integrity by adhering to the Privacy Policy and ensuring confidentiality of information.
  • Follow established bank procedures and comply with regulatory, operational, and security protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in customer service roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior banking experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Supervisory Duties:

This role does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

The position is situated in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands outlined are representative of those that must be met by an employee to effectively perform the essential functions of this role. Regular communication is required, and the employee may need to sit for extended periods.
