Job Summary

The Safety Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe working environment for our employees and clients. This position will advise Branch Managers on safety matters, develop safety plans and programs, and conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor safety and health compliance related to construction and maintenance projects.
  • Provide new employees with orientation to company practices, procedures, and technical tools.
  • Conduct project safety audits and recommend corrections for unsafe acts and tasks.
  • Explain safety policies and procedures to employees.
  • Assist in conducting accident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Administer first aid to employees with minor injuries.
  • Assist in case management of employee injuries.
  • Advise and support local management in fostering a positive HSE culture.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial safety field experience.
  • 30-hour OSHA certification (preferred).
  • Ability to maintain positive business relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Work at heights of 100' plus and climb ladders and stairways.
  • Clear MVR (preferred).
  • Certified in Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED use (preferred).
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Knowledgeable in basic paperwork skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
Physical Requirements
  • Extended standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting.
  • Ability to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, pull objects, materials, controls, and tools.
  • Good visual acuity and depth perception.
  • Ability to work outside in changing weather conditions.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves, and leather work boots.
Pay Range

$33 - $37 per hour
