Adjunct Faculty Field Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adjunct Faculty Field Liaison to join our team at the University of Denver. As a key member of our Field Education team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our social work students by providing guidance, support, and oversight throughout their field education experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide orientation and support to students as they begin their field education experience, including clarification of program policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement Individualized Field Education Plans (IFEPs) in collaboration with students, field instructors, and agency supervisors.
- Conduct regular site visits and virtual meetings with students, field instructors, and agency supervisors to monitor progress and provide feedback.
- Serve as a consultant and resource to students, field instructors, and agency supervisors, providing guidance on best practices and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with the Field Education team to ensure seamless coordination of field education experiences and to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with field placement agencies, ensuring a high-quality field education experience for our students.
- Stay up-to-date on field education policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with 5 years of post-graduate practice experience.
- 1 year of supervisory experience, with a proven ability to mediate conflict and demonstrate assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and group facilitation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with technology and virtual site visits, classes, and student meetings.
- Knowledge of complex organizations and clinical supervision best practices and techniques.
- Agency experience in a variety of practice settings, including direct and indirect services.
- Experience as an agency field supervisor for social work graduate students.
The University of Denver offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a course rate of $444.00 per student per quarter for 1-5 years of employment and $464.00 per student per quarter for 6+ years of employment.
