We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Pediatrix. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children in the PICU
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address patient needs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum of a master's degree
- Active CA License
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric critical care
- Ideal candidate has cardiac experience and/or PICU experience
Pediatrix offers a competitive compensation package, including:
- Hourly rate: $62.00/hour (minimum) to $77.00/hour (maximum) based on experience
- Malpractice insurance coverage
- Travel expenses covered for those residing outside a commutable distance
