Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to patients in alignment with their expertise and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Promote a collaborative environment that emphasizes respect for all, including patients, families, physicians, staff, and other departments.

In this role, you will:

- Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, deliver personalized care using the nursing process for patients typically seen on the unit who have experienced a stroke, traumatic brain injury, or other significant physical injuries.

- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprising other RNs, Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapy professionals, and medical doctors to assist patients in achieving their discharge goals and continuing their recovery journey.

- Exhibit clinical proficiency, nursing judgment, teaching abilities, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of patient care.

- Independently perform general and unit-specific clinical skills.
- Positively contribute to the Department of Nursing and the nursing profession.


What qualifications you will need:
- Current Utah State RN license in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) is preferred. Must obtain BLS or BCLS within 30 days of hire and maintain certification.
- Certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS or ACLS) is preferred. Must obtain ALS or ACLS within 6 months of hire and maintain certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in acute rehabilitation is preferred.
