  • Exhibits comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in delivering physical therapy services across diverse patient demographics, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
  • Delivers effective treatment by conducting thorough evaluations based on patient history, diagnosis, and physician referrals, while formulating a tailored care plan with specific objectives.
  • Ensures meticulous documentation for each patient, adhering to regulatory and departmental standards, and may assist in the timely preparation of patient billing.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to address patient needs and ensure seamless operations within the facility.
  • Oversees all aspects of patient care for assigned individuals, including supervising the activities of physical therapy assistants and other support staff to maintain high-quality care standards.
  • Engages in ongoing professional development and encourages similar opportunities for staff to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the safe operation of physical therapy equipment and contributing to improved clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • May assist in departmental management tasks, including scheduling, mentoring, and resource allocation.
  • Contributes to the development and promotion of physical therapy programs to expand referral networks and achieve departmental objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Valid State Physical Therapist License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
  • Required experience in vestibular therapy.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a clinical healthcare environment.

Physical Demands:

Includes carrying, listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pushing/pulling, visual acuity, verbal communication, squatting/kneeling, standing, and walking.
