Position Overview
Headlands Research is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Associate to join our team.

Under the guidance of the Site Director, the Clinical Pharmacy Associate will assist in the daily operations of the research department related to clinical trials.

Monday & Thursday - 8:30am-5pm / Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all pharmacy-related functions, including inventory management, ordering, and organization.
  • Serve as the primary unblinded staff member for studies requiring this role.
  • Dispense investigational products (IP) via IWRS, ensuring compliance with quality checks as outlined in company protocols.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of rescue and prescription medications.
  • Handle pharmacy-related contracts with third-party vendors.
  • Conduct inventory audits and procure supplies as necessary.
  • Ensure proper return and destruction of IP according to study-specific guidelines.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience in customer service with a focus on resolving issues professionally.
  • Ability to follow established processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to high performance standards for oneself and the team.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to support team efforts.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and collaborate effectively.
  • Act as a backup in laboratory tasks, including blood draws and specimen processing.
  • Assist with electronic data capture (EDC) entry as needed.
  • Support the operations team with administrative tasks as required.
