We are seeking a diligent and committed Maintenance and Grounds Coordinator. The ideal candidate should be prepared to work some weekends and have a passion for outdoor tasks.

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for the overall cleanliness and upkeep of all facilities, as well as various tasks assigned by the Service Manager or Property Manager. The Maintenance and Grounds Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Site Manager and general oversight of the Service Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the grounds and designated areas, ensuring they are free from litter and debris.
  • Conduct daily cleaning of offices, entrances, elevator lobbies, mailrooms, public hallways, laundry areas, restrooms, trash chute rooms, and stairwells (if applicable).
  • Perform daily cleaning of elevators and their tracks (if applicable).
  • Replace light bulbs in exit signs, hallways, stairwells, laundry areas, and trash chute rooms.
  • Safely clean and maintain trash compactors, bins, recycling, and collection zones.
  • Ensure walls, windows, and fire extinguisher cases are clean and well-maintained.
  • Keep supply areas organized and tidy. Assist in inventory management and stocking as directed. Secure all equipment and supplies, ensuring they are not left unattended.
  • Sanitize and clean exercise equipment (if applicable).
  • Perform touch-up cleaning and apartment cleaning as instructed.
  • Engage in seasonal watering and maintenance of landscaping as directed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while executing job duties. Report any hazardous conditions or concerns regarding structures or equipment to the Supervisor or Site Manager.
  • Manage leaf and snow removal. Follow the snow removal schedule during winter months, including shoveling sidewalks and applying sand and salt to walkways as advised by the Site Manager or Property Manager.
  • Paint fire lanes, reserved spaces, handicapped spaces, and speed bumps as assigned (if applicable).
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
