Job Summary:

The State of Ohio is seeking a skilled Therapeutic Program Worker to join our team. As a Therapeutic Program Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Charting, documentation, and reporting to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Organize and conduct patient group activities to promote socialization and skill-building.
  • Transport patients to off-site appointments, ensuring safe and reliable transportation.
  • Participate in interventions to address challenging behaviors and promote positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; formal education in arithmetic and reading, writing, and speaking common English vocabulary preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required for positions involving transportation of consumers.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays, and exposure to communicable diseases and unpredictable patient behavior.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $21.63, with step increases after 2080 hours.
  • Established Term Appointment (ETA) with a length of appointment not to exceed ten months consecutively.
