Position Title: Lead Technical Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating pre-shift discussions to align team objectives.
  • Overseeing the assembly process of completed products.
  • Allocating personnel to production lines effectively.
  • Providing direction and motivation to team members to achieve performance goals.
  • Demonstrating basic proficiency in all operational roles on the production line.
  • Executing additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • This position allows management the flexibility to assign or reassign responsibilities as necessary.

Specific Duties for Fuyao Group South Carolina:

  • Supporting management with documentation, logistics, and customer service as required.
  • Shipping & Receiving:
    • Familiarity with Fuyao products and PLEX system.
    • Understanding of shipping and receiving protocols.
    • Coordinating with planners and clients.
    • Supervising forklift operators.
  • Training:
    • Knowledge of production work instructions.
    • Familiarity with human resources and attendance systems.
    • Onboarding new staff to adhere to work instructions.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Daily verification of empty racks delivered.
    • Monthly inventory checks of empty racks and materials.
    • Maintenance of the material warehouse.
  • Customer Relations:
    • Engaging with clients through various communication channels regarding meetings, audits, and logistics.
  • Human Resources Support:
    • Addressing employee concerns with HR.
    • Assisting with employee documentation and communication.
  • Invoicing:
    • Understanding of all services provided by Fuyao.
    • Familiarity with billing processes.
    • Communicating with accounting to ensure timely payments.
  • Third-Party Coordination:
    • Liaising with contractors for facility maintenance tasks.
  • Record Keeping:
    • Organizing all shipping, receiving, and employee documentation.
  • Facility Maintenance:
    • Ensuring cleanliness of common areas as needed.
  • Executing other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret safety guidelines and operational instructions.
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with team members and clients.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent education.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual acuity for both near and far distances, depth perception, and color differentiation.
  • Ability to operate forklifts as necessary (certification required).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software is advantageous.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to moderate noise levels and occasional extreme heat.
  • Safety equipment such as glasses and steel-toed boots are mandatory.
