Job Description:
As a Location Manager for Agriculture Equipment, you will be responsible for creating and achieving agreed upon location budget. You will develop and execute profit plan to produce budgeted sales volume, margins, and efficiencies; including the monitoring and adjustments of pricing as well as key account selling as needed. You will generate growth through parts and service sales, achieve targeted market penetration, customer retention, competitive conversions, and monthly and annual volume sales goals. You will identify and hire top quality candidates, schedule and ensure effective departmental coverage and support, and effectively lead team and provide ongoing coaching utilizing the performance management system. You will collaborate with appropriate management colleagues to ensure new and used inventory turnover targets are achieved, reinforce company branding by meeting or exceeding company location standards including visual appeal, safety, security, and cleanliness, and distribute general company communications to employees at their location to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication. You will advocate for client's strategic programs, projects, and initiatives, work within and promote corporate vision, mission, and values, and actively care and advocate safety, adhering to all applicable safety policies, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications:
* 8+ years of experience in Ag Sales or Ag Equipment
* Familiar with the major OEMs
* Experience dealing with elevated customer issues
* Ability to lead and motivate others
* Knowledge of Parts, Service, and Precision Ag Technology operations beneficial
* Knowledge of financial metrics and marketing experience
* Solid analytical, business planning, problem solving, customer service, and both verbal & written communication skills
* Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business or equivalent experience beneficial
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record is required
Compensation:
Base is $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience plus performance base bonus from store profit.
