Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, making clinical assessments, and managing treatment autonomously. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and providing a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered care, prioritizing the needs of each patient
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimize patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or ability to obtain prior to start
  • 1+ year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care environment
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
  • BSN degree preferred; CCRN certification a plus
