Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dentist to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, including restorative, pediatric, periodontic, endodontic, prosthodontic, diagnostic, surgical, and preventive services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including routine check-ups, fillings, extractions, and other procedures.
  • Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including gum disease, cavities, and other oral health issues.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including extractions and other complex dental surgeries.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
  • One or more years of experience in professional dentistry work, including experience in restorative, pediatric, periodontic, endodontic, prosthodontic, diagnostic, surgical, and preventive dental services.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment examination and may be subject to a probationary/trial period.
