Barista

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Shore Lodge Whitetail LLC. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a memorable drink experience for our guests and providing exceptional customer service.

• Prepare and Serve Beverages: Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas, and specialty drinks.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment, as well as clean service or seating areas.
• Menu Knowledge: Describe menu items to customers and suggest products that might appeal to them.
• Supply Management: Order, receive, and stock supplies and retail products.
• Customer Service: Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blends or preparation descriptions, and serve prepared foods, such as muffins, biscotti, or bagels.
• Point of Sale: Take customer orders and convey them to other employees for preparation, and receive and process customer payments utilizing a POS system.
• Food Preparation: Weigh, grind, and pack coffee beans for customers, wrap, label, and date food items for sale, and create signage to advertise store products or events.
• Equipment Operation: Demonstrate the use of retail equipment, such as espresso machines, and set up and restock product displays.
• General Maintenance: Slice fruits, vegetables, desserts, or meats for use in food service, and take out garbage.

• Customer Service Skills: Possess excellent customer service abilities.
• Technical Skills: Able to use a POS system.
• Physical Demands: Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Leadership Skills: Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities.
• Adaptability: Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability: Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
