ROLE SUMMARY:

The Software Application Engineer plays a vital role within the Application R&D team, tasked with developing applications related to Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) as part of Aravo's Application Development Lifecycle.

Utilizing a robust technology platform, the Application Engineer will be integral to an agile team, delivering comprehensive, market-ready applications leveraging the Aravo Platform.

The Aravo Platform provides a suite of Third Party/Vendor Management solutions aimed at enhancing compliance and mitigating risk across enterprises. Current applications address critical areas such as Data Security & Privacy, GDPR Compliance, Vendor Registration, and Responsible Sourcing. This role will utilize the Aravo Platform's development tools to create impactful applications.

Success in this position requires experience with the implementation of large-scale, complex business software systems, alongside strong analytical skills to develop software solutions for intricate business challenges. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a commitment to accountability for results are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage in technical design, integration, and configuration of highly customizable SaaS solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of applications using Aravo's TPRM/GRC Platform technology.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement configuration user stories and adhere to documented technical specifications.
  • Work closely with Product Managers to effectively translate and implement business requirements for specific applications.
  • Coordinate with QA to ensure the quality delivery of applications in accordance with Aravo's Quality Process and Software Development Lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong grasp of the software delivery lifecycle and familiarity with multiple delivery methodologies.
  • Understanding of challenges unique to a SaaS delivery environment.
  • Experience in designing and configuring complex, scalable SaaS solutions based on business and technical requirements.
  • Experience with testing and quality assurance of newly delivered applications.
  • Basic knowledge of programming and web technologies (Java, JavaScript, Angular, React, etc.).
  • Proven ability to implement new features and enhance existing functionalities.
  • Strong communication and client-facing presentation skills.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to delivering results.
  • Organized with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently towards project outcomes.
  • On-site presence in one of our primary domestic offices is required, with occasional travel.
  • Must be eligible for employment in the US without the need for visa sponsorship.
