Radiation Therapist

At Baptist Health, we are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiation Oncology department.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer therapeutic doses of radiation as prescribed by the physician for each patient undergoing a prescribed course of radiotherapy.
- Monitor and report any adverse effects, reactions, therapeutic responses, and incompatibilities, and withhold treatment when conditions warrant consultation with the Radiation Oncologist.
- Provide patient education and excellent customer relations skills.
- Correctly document and capture charges for procedures.
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy and State Radiation Operator Certification.
- Basic Life Support certification.
