Radiation Medicine Specialist

The University of Kentucky is seeking a skilled Radiation Medicine Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Medicine Therapist, you will be responsible for providing daily care of cancer patients, including accurate interpretation and delivery of radiation treatments. You will perform simulations, provide clinical instruction for radiation therapy students, and may be required to cover brachy procedures and treatment scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide daily care of cancer patients
- Accurately interpret and deliver radiation treatments
- Perform simulations and provide clinical instruction for radiation therapy students
- Cover brachy procedures and treatment scheduling as needed
- AS degree
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Valid Kentucky State License Registration
- Ability to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds
- 2-6 years of radiation therapy experience
