We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator Telemetry to join our team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our Telemetry unit.
About the RoleThe RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator Telemetry will be responsible for coordinating patient care, managing staff, and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education and support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 1 year of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse licensure.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
