As one of the leading providers of electrical products, services, and energy management solutions in the nation, we are expanding our team and looking for an Electrical Construction Supervisor to join the FSG Electric - Chicago division.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Construction Supervisor, you will oversee and manage teams engaged in the installation or maintenance of electrical systems, or serve as the primary supervisor on smaller projects. The ideal candidate will possess prior supervisory experience, a solid employment history, and demonstrate reliability and integrity. We seek dedicated individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the organization.

An Electrical Construction Supervisor will:
  • Work under the guidance of the FSG Project Manager to assign tasks to field electricians, ensuring adherence to project schedules. Collaborate with other trades and manage subcontractor activities.
  • Coordinate with the FSG Project Manager to comprehend project timelines and financial constraints.
  • Manage the allocation of materials, tools, equipment, and manpower to meet project deadlines and budgetary requirements.
  • Oversee the completion of necessary office documentation and administrative tasks, including daily reports, time sheets, and safety documentation.
  • Provide manpower forecasts to the Project Manager by establishing work schedules and crew needs.
  • Inspect and uphold the quality of work performed by the crew to ensure compliance with FSG standards.
  • Continuously train and develop team members to foster career advancement.
  • Ensure safety performance on the job site, guaranteeing that all employees receive proper training and adhere to safety protocols. Investigate and report any incidents or accidents involving personnel.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experienced Electrician in commercial and construction settings
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background screening
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Experience leading crews or acting as a supervisor on new construction projects.
