LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Weekend Position

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the health and wellness component of the community to ensure maximum levels of resident function ability, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
  • Observe patients/residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
  • Monitor and record vital signs.
  • Provide assistance as necessary with activities of daily living.
  • Administer prescribed medications, injections, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks.
  • Collect lab samples.
  • Communicate with other members of the team, residents, families, and medical professionals.
  • Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
  • LPN (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Preferred, not required)
  • Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
  • Perfect physical condition and stamina
