Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at Juniper Communities. As a LPN, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the health and wellness component of the community, ensuring the maximum levels of resident function ability, safety, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting
  • Observe patients/residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
  • Monitor and record vital signs
  • Provide assistance as necessary with activities of daily living
  • Administer prescribed medications, injections, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks
  • Collect lab samples
  • Communicate with other members of the team, residents, families, and medical professionals
  • Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
  • LPN (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Preferred, not required)
  • Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
  • Perfect physical condition and stamina
