  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ year of experience in HIM job-related duties and possess strong knowledge of medical records management, including EMR navigation and CPT/ICD-10 codes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

The estimated salary for this position is $24.50/hr-$32.00/hr, plus bonus eligibility.

Job Description:

The Health Information Management Professional will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with the collecting, analyzing, and indexing of patient care documentation within our claims system.

This includes obtaining medical records and supporting documentation, examining documents to determine proper placement within the paper or electronic record, and utilizing critical thinking to complete key job responsibilities such as medical record retrieval, document labeling, and problem-solving.

The successful candidate will also ensure HIPAA compliance for patient medical records and personal health information, meet daily, weekly, and monthly objectives, and promote Breg's culture of accountability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1+ year of experience in HIM job-related duties preferred.
  • Previous medical records experience, including EMR navigation, general billing knowledge, CPT and ICD-10 codes preferred.
