Faculty Position in Radiology General

The Department of Radiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking a talented diagnostic radiologist to join our multispecialty radiology practice. As a faculty member, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and cases, and contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide diagnostic imaging services across various specialties, including but not limited to, general radiology, neuroradiology, and musculoskeletal radiology.
  • Participate in medical student, resident, and fellow education, including lectures, small group discussions, and clinical rotations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs and curricula.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent customer service.
  • Engage in research and scholarly activities, including the development of new imaging techniques and technologies.

Requirements:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Ability to obtain state licensure in New Mexico.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Subspecialty fellowship training or comparable experience.
