George Junior Republic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our team. As a Mental Health Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to families in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide community-based services to a caseload of seven to ten families, including in-home and school-based interventions.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to engage families and promote positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with schools, mental health agencies, substance abuse services, public assistance programs, and other community support organizations to ensure comprehensive support for families.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual and family therapy sessions.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Professional licensure preferred.
  • Must live in/near the county.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Act 33/34 clearances and FBI clearances.
  • Able to work a non-traditional schedule.
