Job Title: Behavior Consultant - ABA Therapist

The Behavior Consultant serves as the primary therapist in the Treatment Team, coordinating all treatment services for each client in their caseload.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the prompt and accurate completion of all necessary clinical, fiscal, and program-related forms.
  • Provide training and supervision to applicable staff to ensure continuation of knowledge in the areas of crisis intervention and behavior modification.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the child's treatment team to design and direct the implementation of a behavior modification intervention plan.
  • Ensure that all behavior modification intervention plans are proactive and individualized to the child and family needs.
  • Identify behavioral goals and intervention techniques, recommend non-aversive behavioral change methods to treatment team members and family, and implement programs using the least restrictive treatment modality.
  • Effectively monitor behavioral plan implementation regularly and communicate with all staff and professionals involved to ensure the effectiveness of all intervention techniques.
Requirements:
  • Must meet one of the following criteria:
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or Counseling from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year of full-time experience providing mental health direct care to children, youth, or young adults.
  • Be licensed in the Commonwealth as a Behavior Specialist.
  • Have a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level accredited certification in behavior analysis.
  • Have a graduate degree in ABA from an accredited College or University.

All candidates must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver's License.
