Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute daily operations for each job, minimizing risk and exposure.
  • Manage and supervise crew personnel, assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities based on their skills.
  • Communicate effectively with the Superintendent, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of work performed, adhering to designs and specifications.
  • Schedule inspections and complete daily paperwork, including production reports and field extras.
  • Coordinate material orders and deliveries to site.
  • Identify obstacles and opportunities for each phase of work, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
  • Ensure crew has correct equipment, materials, and tools for the job.
  • Observe and enforce all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury to self or coworkers.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of field experience as a Foreman with a general contractor performing concrete, masonry, and carpentry for residential and commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of current construction means, methods, and procedures, with the ability to direct others to perform to these standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Valid Driver's License (CDL License a plus).
  • Personal accountability and responsibility, with excellent follow-through.
  • Positive attitude, collaborative, and adept at changing priorities.

This position requires working in various outdoor conditions, including weather and seasonal changes, with varying job sites and conditions.
