Senior Accounting Professional

As a key member of our accounting team, the Senior Accounting Professional will be responsible for assisting in all phases of corporate accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, prepaids, and the closing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile and prepare journal entries.
  • Timely processing of accounts payable and working with vendors on any billing discrepancies.
  • Assist on the accounts receivable side with customer inquiries.
  • Help perform month end close activities and journal entries.
  • Assist in preparation of month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial statements and annual reporting.
  • Inventory reconciliation, investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Participation and analysis, cycle counting program.
  • Identifies improvements for internal processes and controls.
  • Contribute in answering questions from annual external audit.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of ERP manufacturing system.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills strong in Excel.
  • Excellent communication, strong analytical, problem solving, and computer skills required.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
  • Advanced degree and/or related certification a plus.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated Accounting/Finance experience.
