Daily Responsibilities

In this role, you will guide clients in making informed and confident choices regarding their financial matters, fostering relationships that deepen over time.


Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate the tax return process by inputting client and W-2 data into the tax software.
  • Assist in concluding the client interview by compiling the tax return, securing necessary signatures, reviewing the completed return with the client, and executing bookkeeping tasks.
  • Ensure that all clients of H&R Block receive exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient reading and mathematical skills necessary for conducting the tax return interview.
  • Effective communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Familiarity with Windows-based computer applications.
  • Compliance with additional state and local requirements may be necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional coursework in mathematics, accounting, or finance.
