About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dialysis team at Health Systems Management, Inc. (HSM). As a key member of our healthcare management organization, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our renal community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Prescribed Medical Treatment: Administer prescribed medical treatment and dialysis treatment to clients of the unit, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Rend Highly Professional Nursing Care: Render highly professional and technical nursing care to dialysis patients, utilizing the nursing process to deliver exceptional results.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team: Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to achieve the highest standards of care specific to the age/developmental status of patients.
  • Ensure Patient Safety: Ensure a secure and safe patient environment by following safety policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  • Act as Team Lead: Act as Team Lead, when necessary, in work assignment, demonstrating leadership skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current LPN licensure appropriate to the state of practice.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent bedside manner and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to patient care.
  • Physical Demands: This position requires frequent and prolonged periods of standing and bending, with the ability to lift and move patients as needed.
