Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer - Level 4 to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of the Sustainment Supply Performance Improvement Team, you will be responsible for scoping, standing up, and maintaining data visualization environments to assist the Supply team with better insight into performance and areas of opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop methods, processes, and systems to analyze diverse data sources
  • Develop and use advanced software programs, algorithms, querying, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate datasets and model complex business problems
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize data to communicate insightful information to key stakeholders
  • Present thorough and detailed reports to identify areas of opportunity to drive future decision-making
  • Perform data validation and maintain the integrity of dashboards and databases
  • Develop and automate data pipelines
  • Complete ad-hoc research requests from senior leadership and brief investigatory findings
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics/Science, or another related discipline from an accredited university; or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Demonstrated Data Analytics experience
  • Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Inventory Management experience
Desired Skills
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Self-Service, QlikView, PowerBI, or other similar tools
  • Programming experience and demonstrated proficiency with at least one modern software language such as C++, C, C#, Java, Python, etc.
  • Ability to adapt business processes into automated tools and perform specialized data investigations to support Root-Cause Corrective-Action (RCCA) efforts
  • Project Management experience
  • Understanding of performance metric measures or KPI reporting techniques a plus
