Airport Project Engineer Job Description

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Airport Project Engineer to join our Aviation service team in Fort Worth or Dallas, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing airport infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop airport infrastructure projects, including airfield layout and design, safety plans, and civil design and construction projects.
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects of various size and complexity.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other staff to ensure design oversight, coordination, and other tasks are completed during the proposal, design, and construction phases.
  • Assist in cost estimating, permitting, client relations, and other duties required to deliver a quality product for our clients in a timely manner.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism.
Requirements:
  • BS in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in Texas (or capable of obtaining within 6 months).
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, preferably in aviation or airport design.
