Responsibilities include implementing moderate enhancements or improvements to systems and processes to resolve issues or enhance the effectiveness of the job area. Problem-solving typically relies on prior experiences and thorough analysis of the challenges faced.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation of functional block diagrams, use-case diagrams, and cabling diagrams.
- Development of Engineering Change Orders.
- Execution of trade studies.
- Preparation of requirements specifications.
- Collaboration with other engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical) to ensure proper coordination of systems aspects of projects.
- Planning and executing integration and testing, including the development of plans and procedures.
- Preparation and presentation of design review materials.
- Management and coordination of system interfaces with other interconnected systems.
- Verification of system interfaces.
- Conducting system test activities, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Providing mentorship to junior RF Engineers.
- Familiarity with Telemetry Systems, Test Missile Kit, and SSBN operations.
- Experience in testing RF systems in laboratory and field environments.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or a Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience; or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Possession of a Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.
Preferred Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven initiative, drive, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of EMI and EMC Mil-Standards.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $102,000 - $190,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amounts may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
